Since I formed Pingv in 2005, I've created many different versions of the logo. This one (the current one) is my favorite. Note the arc slice in the v centers on the dot in the i.

Logo Design

While not the primary focus of my design work, branding work gives me great joy. That's not to say it's easy. On the contrary. There's a lot of trial and error, working and reworking concepts, following instinct while also working with precision down to the smallest detail. I've done a couple dozen logos over the years. These shown here are I think where I was most successful – simple, balanced, full of energy and gravitas.
