A very exciting proposition made in Dries Buytaert's presentation on the Future of Drupal.

Very interesting from the father of PHP. It could truly open up possibilties in accelerating Drupal development.

I was in the back of the room, so had a hard time hearing the exact exchange (even with the mics, but I have bad hearing to begin with...), BUT, I personally thought the exchange got a bit tense for a moment or two, not necessarily in a bad way. I think it was a good mini-debate, not something that could have been easily decided at that moment, and I think a train-of-thought that needs to debated further, maybe between Rasmus and Dries in a room together. In Vegas, pay-per-view.
