Yesterday, Technorati responded to my inquiry:
I've taken a look at the issue regarding picking up your pings for "www.pingv.com" and "blogher.org". After making a small adjustment, I've sent our spiders to revisit your pages and your blogs have been indexed with your most recent posts.
This leads me to believe that perhaps their spiders were not optimized for these sites. Whether that's related to Drupal or not, I don't know. I appreciate their timely response. (Marianne Rchmond has praise for Janice Myint, who was the rapid responder to my trouble ticket as well. Thanks, Janice!)
All of our Drupal-powered sites (including BlogHer, pingVIsion and this humble blog) seem to be tracking properly on Technorati now.

I've had the same problem for a while now. According to Technorati, I haven't updated in 122 days. I know I get behind sometimes (I was sick the last 8 days) but not that behind!
(Somehow, I never cared enough to bother them about it, but the fact that you are a Drupal user as well leads me to believe that the problem isn't my server or theme, but rather a Drupal/Technorati intergration issue.)
I'm not sure how much Drupal itself is responsible. Drupal-powered sites do quite well with other trackers and especially search engines. Here's hoping Janice is able to find some adjustments that help everyone's sites track better.
I did not mean to imply Drupal was doing something wrong, sorry if I indicated that. I just meant to say that I believe it is something with Drupal and Technorati.
I didn't think you meant it that way, but I wanted to be clear on my perspective.
